AAC Ball Mill Slurry Grinding Equipment for Autoclaved Concrete Block Plant

Autoclaved aerated concrete depends on a very fine, uniform slurry of silica sand or fly ash, lime, cement and gypsum, and the ball mill is the machine that makes it. If the raw materials are not ground finely and mixed evenly, the finished blocks develop inconsistent density and poor strength.

The AAC Ball Mill is a horizontal rotating cylinder filled with steel grinding media. Sand, lime and additives are fed with water into the mill, where the tumbling balls crush and blend the solids into a smooth, pumpable slurry. A wear resistant rubber or ceramic lining protects the shell, and the discharge is screened before the slurry enters the casting and pouring stage.

Grinding fineness and slurry density are controlled by adjusting the feed rate, water addition and mill speed, giving the pouring station a consistent material that rises predictably in the moulds. Because the mill runs continuously and needs little attention, the AAC block plant keeps a steady production rhythm with a low operating cost.

The AAC Ball Mill is a core machine in autoclaved aerated concrete block plants, aerated panel factories and lightweight concrete production lines. It grinds silica sand, fly ash, lime and gypsum to prepare the slurry for casting, and the same mill type also serves cement, ceramics and mineral grinding duties.

The mill shell, drive unit, linings and grinding media are shipped as separate components on steel frames, with all machined surfaces protected against rust and impact. Linings are crated individually and the girth gear is wrapped for sea transport. Foundation drawings, installation manuals and commissioning support are supplied, and the mill carries a twelve month warranty against manufacturing defects.
