The Active Lime Production Line produces high-quality quicklime from limestone using a vertical preheater, a rotary kiln and a grate cooler. Sized limestone is preheated in the vertical preheater by hot gases, then calcined in the rotary kiln at up to 1250 degrees Celsius, and finally cooled in the grate cooler, which recovers heat and returns it to the process.
