The Oilseed Puffing Machine prepares high oil content materials for solvent extraction by extrusion. Rapeseed, corn germ and various pre-pressed oil cakes are the usual feed materials, and the machine also handles soybean, cottonseed and rice bran. During puffing the material is heated, sheared and expanded into a porous structure.
