Oilseed Puffing Machine Extrusion Expander High Oil Yield for Soybean Rapeseed

The Oilseed Puffing Machine prepares high oil content materials for solvent extraction by extrusion. Rapeseed, corn germ and various pre-pressed oil cakes are the usual feed materials, and the machine also handles soybean, cottonseed and rice bran. During puffing the material is heated, sheared and expanded into a porous structure. This porous texture lets solvent penetrate faster and more completely, which raises the oil yield and shortens the extraction cycle.

Compared with a conventional flaking and extraction route, puffing can increase production efficiency by 30 to 50 percent, shorten the extraction time, raise the leaching rate and reduce the residual oil left in the meal. It also lowers energy consumption and reduces the investment needed in downstream oil production equipment, which makes it an attractive solution both for new plants and for capacity upgrades.

The puffing machine is placed immediately before the solvent extraction workshop and is fed by the pretreatment section. It is widely used in rapeseed, soybean, cottonseed and rice bran oil plants, and it can also process pre-pressed cakes from a screw pressing line in order to improve the efficiency of a subsequent leaching stage.

The machine is shipped in sections to simplify transport and on-site assembly, with the screw, barrel and drive protected by anti-rust coating and heavy wrapping. Installation drawings, alignment instructions and a spare parts kit are included. A twelve month warranty applies to the barrel, screw and gearbox.
