The Magnetic Separator CTB1018 uses a rotating drum fitted with permanent magnets to capture strongly magnetic particles from an ore slurry and carry them clean out of the tailings. As the slurry flows through the tank, magnetite and other ferromagnetic minerals cling to the drum surface and are lifted behind a scraper, while non-magnetic material is washed away with the flow.
