Edible Oil Extractor Rotocel Continuous Solvent Extraction Machine for Oil Mill

The Edible Oil Extractor is the core machine in the edible oil solvent extraction process. Pretreated oilseeds or pre-pressed oil cake are fed to the extractor by conveyor, immersed or percolated with a selected organic solvent, and separated into two streams: miscella, the oil-rich solvent mixture, and wet meal. The extractor therefore sits at the heart of the workshop, and its design determines the extraction efficiency, the residual oil in the meal and the stability of the whole line.

We supply four extractor configurations so that the machine can be matched to the plant capacity and the raw material: rotocel extractor, loop type extractor, drag chain extractor and batch tank extractor. The rotocel extractor is the most widely used and is ideal for small and medium plants, the loop type and drag chain extractors serve large scale plants, and the tank extractor suits capacities below 20 t/d. All four types share the same working principle, dissolving oil from the seed by contact with solvent and delivering a clean miscella to the evaporation system.

• Loop type extractor: continuous combined type driven by a drag chain, designed for large scale oil extraction plants.
• Drag chain extractor: continuous immersion type for direct soybean and rice bran extraction.
• Wide material range: peanut, rapeseed, cottonseed, sunflower seed, sesame, corn germ, copra and pre-pressed cakes.
• Efficient separation: low residual oil in the meal and a clean miscella feed to the evaporation system.
• Special duties: also suitable for extracting capsicum red pigment and other specialty materials.

The extractor is applied wherever a solvent extraction workshop processes oilseeds or pre-pressed cake. The rotocel and tank types are used in small and medium plants, while the loop type and drag chain extractors serve large scale plants handling soybean, rice bran, cottonseed, rapeseed, sunflower seed, camellia seed, grape seed and palm kernel cake. It also suits protein alcohol leaching and specialty pigment extraction.

The extractor is shipped in transport sections with the rotor, cells and seals protected, and the drive assembly crated separately where required. We provide assembly drawings, alignment instructions and a commissioning checklist, together with a twelve month warranty on the rotor, frame and drive unit.
